Hello from Norway

Hi,
My name is Maiken. My husband and I just imported Norway`s first Braque du Bourbonnais.
She is from breeder Marianna Plathan in Finland, Kennel Karamain.
Her name is: Karamain Satyr av Gyldenskov. Satyr means "god of the woods" and Gyldenskov is our kennel name where we bred longhair weimaraners.
We are so excited to have the first BB`s in Norway:-) We are going to hunt, dog shows, retrieving tests and ability trials with Satyr.
Our plans are also to come at the World dog Show i Paris next summer. Any trials in France during this time?

 Hello Maiken,
Welcome, it's great to have Bourbonnais in another country. I don't know yet the Field trial canlendar for next year,  but I can tell you there will be a lot of Bourbonnais at the World show in Paris.

In Norway there are no rules for how you name the pups. It`s different from breed to breed. But i group 7, the breeders often use the alfabethical order, starting with A.
Often using the kennel name before or after the name. Some breeders use the letter from the parents in the litters.
